The second annual Quilt Show was held during Carstens Farm Days in September, 2009.
The location of this event changed this year and seemed to be well-received by the guests. (The first Quilt Show was held in the top of the horse barn and required guests to climb a flight of stairs.) In 2009, the Quilt Show was held in the new machine shed. Jan Hursey and Marilyn Evans again did an excellent job of organizing the Quilt Show and making it such a success. A total of 37 quilts, 1 quilted purse and 3 table runners were displayed.
Many comments were made from visitors about what a great idea the quilt raffle was and how it added to the interest in the Quilt Show itself. Many thanks to all who supported the Quilt Show in any way.
