One of the things we do each year to prepare for Carstens Farm Days is to cut the wheat and pick up bundles. While this does involve some labor from our volunteers, it is really fun to see this whole process. The volunteers get together to pick up the bundles and to exchange stories about the good old days.
This year, we were joined by a group who purchased some of our wheat to be threshed during Logan's Sesiquicentennial which will be held in Logan, Iowa on September 2 - 4, 2017. Please be sure to check out their Facebook page for more information.
