All year, we all hoped and prayed for rain, and it never really materialized, so, of course, it waited until Saturday, September 10, 2022 to rain!
It started to rain mid-morning and continued until about 3:00 that afternoon, clearing up just in time for Staley's Chicken dinner!

We were fortunate to serve dinner to our many guests and to have eveyone sit around and visit, enjoying the great weather we had that night while Rick Powell and Mike Franklin entertained everyone for a few hours. It turned out to be a great night. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Great Day on Sunday!
After getting a short inch of rain on Saturday, we had a great day on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Fortunately, there wasn't a lot of mud, the sun was out, and it was absolutely beautiful weather. Everyone was eager to get out on such a nice day, and we had many people come out to enjoy a day at Carstens Farm.

Thanks to all those that came out, as well as to all those who helped in any way. We had lots of good food, lots of laughs with great friends and made lots of memories.
